The CSN Forum has an element of training but is primarily focused on relationships and new innovations in stewardship ministry. The 2012 Forum will be held at Gateway Church in Southlake Texas, February 6-8, 2012. It will begin with an informal welcome dinner on Monday evening at 6:30, and the forum will conclude at 3:00 on Wednesday to allow for travel time.

The Theme of the 2012 Annual CSN Forum is Proverbs 15:22:  “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisors they succeed.”

This year’s Forum is designed to draw upon the collective wisdom and experience of some of our own members as we share best practices, highlight what’s working, and focus on what we have learned from decisions that were not so successful.

In organizing the 2012 Forum, the opportunity to draw upon the accumulated knowledge of experienced stewardship veterans seemed to be the best way to benefit from the “counsel of many advisors to succeed.”

CSN members will present new and proven effective ways to grow a culture of stewardship and to encourage stewardship leaders. Topics include:
   • Specific stewardship “Best Practices” for us to collectively “steal” and implement
   • An overview of the latest updates from national para-church and stewardship support ministries
   • Reviews of new or updated stewardship books, videos and curriculum
   • Specific focus on recruiting, equipping, organizing and utilizing stewardship volunteers
   • A look at what we can learn from our difficult times and ministry failures
   • Individual presentations by stewardship leaders detailing their own ministry journeys
   • Times for informal sharing and connecting among CSN members
   • Other CSN and local ministry updates
